What You Will Do:
As a Community Care Specialist, you will have the ultimate responsibility of implementing customized care plans to nurture the whole person in mind, body, and spirit. Your duties will include providing impeccable care to clients, assisting in scheduled activities, and managing overall care. Treating clients like family, you'll go above and beyond to enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Providing outstanding home care to the committed client and assisting with the implementation of detailed, individualized weekly schedules and care plans
Perform your everyday responsibilities in a professional and safe manner (ADLs) - Provide personal company and stay involved with each client by continuing to offer them emotional and social support.
- Help with personal care tasks, such as feeding and meal preparation, light housework, incontinence care, mobility help, and personal hygiene. At all times, prioritize the well-being of your clients.
- When necessary, arrange for transportation to and from appointments.
Administrative duties such tracking task completion and reporting modifications to the client's physical state, mental capacity, or personality
Qualifications
Required Skills, Education and Certifications:
- A personal caregiver or home health aide
- Experience with Alzheimer's or dementia is necessary
- Accredited Basic Life Support Education (CPR)
- TB Examination and PPD Chest X-Ray
- To go to and from work, you must have a valid driver's license and a dependable mode of transportation
- Kindness, empathy, and compassion are essential
- Capacity to make wise decisions and maintain composure in a range of circumstances
- Has to be trustworthy, trustworthy, and punctual
- Both a basic understanding of computers and general technological savvy
- Evidence proving eligibility to work in the United States
- Capable of providing references and passing a background check
